Communtiy Service
GSS seeks to nurture our students so they develop a sensitivity toward the world around them. Over the nine years of elementary school, we help grow girls from the self- absorbed “the world revolves around me” stage to the “agents of social justice” phase. We hope girls leave GSS for high school with a developing understanding of the human condition and a desire to volunteer for worthwhile causes and organizations for the rest of their lives. ALL girls at GSS are required to participate in some community service activities (at age appropriate levels, of course).
