Girls’ School Sacramento has applied for non-profit status.. Since the tuition paid by each family covers only about 85% of the student’s education, fundraising and donations are always necessary. 
Each family is expected to participate in one fundraiser per year in addition to the Girls’ School Gala (a major event held yearly in the spring- beginning in 2009).
GSS may begin a capital campaign in 2009 for the purchase of a permanent school site.
